Picture this: a trio of fantastic parks, all lined up like a sun-soaked parade along South Kihei Road, marking the crème de la crème of beaches on this side of the island. These hotspots are not just any beaches—they’re the cool kids on the block! What makes them stand out?

Well, for starters, they’ve got it all—bathrooms, showers, lifeguard towers, and the cherry on top: some seriously awesome interpretive signage. The county of Maui has been working its magic, decking out these sandy havens with snazzy boardwalks that lead through the dunes straight to the beach. No more sandy acrobatics for us—thank you, beach dune restoration project! And here’s the kicker—all three beaches are snorkeler’s dreams with beautiful reefs to explore. Kamaole III, the big cheese of the trio, takes it up a notch with ample parking, picnic tables, fire grates (who’s up for a beach BBQ?), and swingsets for the kiddos. It’s like a beach party waiting to happen!
